Ron was an inspiration and a gifted teacher and musician.  In addition, he and his lovely wife, Carol, were true friends.  I'm very thankful for the opportunity I had to go through the Healing Harps program with Ron, and stay in their lovely Bishop HIll IL home.  Carol was a wonderful hostess!  Some of the best days and memories of my life!

To: Julietta and Family of Dr. Ronald Dewey Price: Please accept my most sincere  condolences in memory of someone who must have been truly loved by so many for all the kindness, caring and love that he showed to others by offering his gift of music. Rev. 21:4 reads "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away".

Hi - I am a harpist.  IN 1994 I began workin in Las Vegas, and the wife of one of my colleagues was confined to a wheelchair as a result of MS. At this point she could hardly even use her hands - not even to type.  She was getting pretty depressed. I had learned about Ron's incredible story just a few months before, and thought to share it with this couple.  We decided to do a little experiment - we got her a small lap harp and I spent the next few months helping her connect with it. She could barely strum it at first, but after awhile could actually pluck the strings.

We considered it a miracle, and because of this - I have dedicated my life to the healing power of the harp.  Thank you Ron.  You are surely one of the angels.

I am thrilled to know that my father's legacy will continue on through Healing Harps. My parents met through music two weeks before college started in marching band camp. Music continued to pull them closer and closer together throughout their lives. Their love and compassion for people certainly shined through their music. I personally thank them for the gift of music that they instilled in me. I miss them both terribly but know that their love of music will live on through me as they taught me to share my gift of music with others. RIP mom and dad

Ron and Carol were a most important influence in my life. I met both of them when I began a masters program at NIU studying with Ron to learn about Healing Harps. I fondly remember the training modules at Bishop Hill where Carol made everything beautiful for the students in the guest house and prepared the most wonderful meals for us. I remember meeting their friends and colleagues and how they spoke of each person with such love and respect. They faced all the same hardships we all do, but their compassion for others remained intact and pure. It was a relief to my mind to know that the motivation behind music could be imbued with such complete love for others with a complete focus on using it to heal people. They always loved others first, they always thought of others first, and in this way best understood the music of heaven even during their stay on earth. Thank you Ron and Carol, and it is my deepest wish to continue your spirit and love in the world.

“No more will there be an infant from that place who lives but a few days,

Nor an old man who fails to live out his days.
For anyone who dies at a hundred will be considered a mere boy. Isaiah 65:20
