 He Will Call ( Job 14:13-15 )

Life, like a mist, appears for just a day, Then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away, Replaced with tears and sorrow. If a man should die, can he live again? Hear the promise God has made:

He will call; The dead will answer. They shall live at his command. For he will have a longing For the work of his own hand. So have faith, and do not wonder, For our God can make us stand. And we shall live forever, As the work of his own hand.

Friends of our God, though they may pass away, Will never be forsaken. All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay, From death he will awaken. Then we’ll come to see all that life can be: Paradise eternally.
(See also John 6:40; 11:11, 43; Jas. 4:14 .)

Your dear sweet Dorothy brought so much love and encouragement to all those around her. I can tell from your kind words how much she meant to everyone, and will be greatly missed. It is my pleasure to share a hope for the near future with you. It is described at Ecclesiastes 3:13 which speaks of everyone finding enjoyment for all of their hard work because it is a gift from God. It's so comforting to know that the love and care Dorothy showed while she was alive, will one day be truly rewarded with the promise of everlasting life without death. Revelation 21:4, sincerely

I will so dearly miss my Mother's sweet voice, as most of our together time over the last number of years has been on the phone. Nobody can read the Bible quite like she can, and sharing God's Word with one another so blessed each of us. My heartfelt appreciation for my sister Diane enabling me to spend such good, quality time in person with Mother this past Mother's Day, 10 May 2015, where Mother was living with my sister Annabel, my Sissy. Mother loved our calling each other with that affectionate name as we were growing up, and we do still.

Dorothy was a wonderful person.  She was a naturally gifted teacher who helped many adult students improve their writing skills and earn a GED.  Her kindness and patience were an inspiration to all of us in Adult Ed.

Her life truly made a difference in the lives of others.

I spent many, many hours at Dottie's and Oliver's house between the ages of 2 and 18, as Diane, their daughter, and I were best friends. I moved away and lost touch with everyone until a few years ago when I returned to the area. I was so happy to get to see Dottie again when she was on her "book tour" in Maryville. She was as gracious and kind as always. I know she is glad to be reunited with Oliver.
