He Will Call ( Job 14:13-15 )
Life, like a mist, appears for just a day, Then disappears tomorrow. All that we are can quickly fade away, Replaced with tears and sorrow. If a man should die, can he live again? Hear the promise God has made:
He will call; The dead will answer. They shall live at his command. For he will have a longing For the work of his own hand. So have faith, and do not wonder, For our God can make us stand. And we shall live forever, As the work of his own hand.
Friends of our God, though they may pass away, Will never be forsaken. All those asleep who in God’s mem’ry stay, From death he will awaken. Then we’ll come to see all that life can be: Paradise eternally.
(See also John 6:40; 11:11, 43; Jas. 4:14 .)

I still cannot believe you are gone. I love you and will miss you forever. I would do anything to turn back time and relive every single moment of our lives together.

My sincerest condolences for your loss. Death is so unnaturally, especially realized by those who are left behind to greive. Through similar trials I found comfort in the words at John 5:28,29, a promise that death will soon be done away with and those taken captive by it will live again. May you too find hope and peace for the future.

I worked with Maria for about 6 years. I considered her a true friend, a beautiful person who never got angry. She was smart, sweet, a wonderful human being that will be tremendously missed. She always called me "babes". She was my phone back-up and whenever I needed to step away and have her cover the phones, she would always give me "a hall pass".
Sweet dreams, babes, I will miss you forever!

I joined the Clinique brand just few months after Maria and from the beginning, I felt her amazing energy shining through. Always professional and positive in every circumstance, always smily, generous, always ready to listen to you and help you her best, always a nice attention for everyone, always the best intentions. Maria is a rare human being, the kind you meet really not so often. I met Maria in a professional environment but I can tell that the person I met was really her true character, the real Maria, A real kind person. Maria accomplished herself in so many ways, I am sure that she made her family and friends so proud, so blessed. With these few words, I just want to express and share with all, my support to her family and closest friends. I keep in mind a word, joy.

When I was new to the company, in one of our first meetings together, we were with a large group of people. Maria sought me out to introduce herself, offer her help with anything at all then asked about me. She genuinely wanted to understand more about me. She drew me in with her listening intently and with her laughter on whatever we ended up talking about. The next time I saw Maria, she asked me about something we discussed. She remembered everything! Somehow I ended up telling her the date my husband and I were married. On that date, she emailed me a Happy Anniversary. How did she remember this!? This was Maria’s brand – to remember the details on those in her life, growing and nurturing the many relationships in her life at work and personally. Maria was always surrounded by people – she was a connector. If she spoke to someone and found something in common with someone else, she would connect those two people. She was one of a kind and will be someone who still has presence in our hearts as we think of our memories with her. My thoughts and prayers go to her family, especially Fil and Alexandra. RIP Maria - you will remain in our hearts as we celebrate our memories of you.

My deepest sorrow goes out to all who knew and loved Maria. She was a gem. I had the pleasure of meeting Maria through work and I knew immediately she was not only a college but a friend.

My deepest sympathies go out to Maria's family, and my heart goes out to Maria's baby girl who will sadly never know the beautiful loving woman who was her mother. May God look after Alexandra and her father, and keep them safe. And may Maria rest in peace, knowing that her Estee Lauder family will keep her memory alive.

To my sweet angel ,
I am lost for words. For the most part I can't even find the right ones. Saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do. Especially to you. Maria , you are the most amazing person that I have ever met and you had every single quality that people would die to have. You were never angry and if you were you had the right reasons to be. Never sad never complained never cried . You were the happiest and most sincere, graceful, loyal person I've met. I am so honored to have had you in my life. Alexandra and her daddy are so so lucky. You created a beautiful baby girl and she will grow up to be an amazing person filled with amazing memories of her mommy. I will make sure of that. I love you so much I wish I could hug you right now and tell you that. But I know your here and are blessing everyone 😔💕💕

No words can express the loss of Maria. Everyone who had the honor of meeting her loved her. Her laugh was infectious and she never had a bad word to say to or about anyone. Heaven got a little brighter but we lost a beautiful light down here. I hope to share with Alexandra Maria's sense of adventure, love of travel and trying new things. May you rest in peace sweet girl.

I'm so grief stricken at the news of Maria's passing. She was one of the many HR partners I worked with in my 10 years with the company but she stuck out because of her compassion, kindness and sense of urgency. Maria and I were pregnant at the same time, and being she was a few months ahead of me she was great at offering words of wisdom - whether it be how to survive the nausea or how to navigate our insurance, she was incredibly helpful. It's hard to imagine someone so young, passing so quickly and suddenly. My heart breaks for Fil and Alexandra. Please know how much she meant to us in the office and that she will greatly be missed. My deepest condolences.

Maria was (and will always be) the brightness in everyones' day. Her laugh, her love for her husband and daughter, her love of her family and friends and most of all her love of life never went unnoticed. She had the biggest heart, strength of a prized fighter and enough laughter to fill a room. I had the privilege to work with Maria and learn from her. From our lighthearted chatter to our philosophical discussions, I always walked away feeling blessed. Words cannot express my sorrow and grief for her family and friends. May you all let memories comfort you and Maria's positive attitude fill your hearts. May she rest in peace.

My name is Mary Broadworth and I worked with Maria at Clinique. When I started in January 2015 I was new to the company and although Maria had been with the company for 10 years she was also new to Clinique. We were in it together and it was obvious from the minute I met Maria that she was going to my guide, mentor and Estee Lauder Coach.
We spend a majority of our lives with the people we work with. I am so honored that I had the opportunity to spend time with Maria. She brightened up my day, everyday I looked forward to catching up with Maria. For everyone who worked with Maria we know how special she is. As I think about how hard it is going to be to imagine a world without Maria, I also want to honor and celebrate memories of Maria at her best. When I think of Maria I think of her smile and her laugh. Maria is a person that you want to spend time with. So often I want to say thank you to Maria for something she did to help me or make me laugh and I was always trying to give her a hug, which she didn’t like. I want to celebrate the precious time I had with Maria, she will be my reminder to be present and spend time with people you love.
Being a mom is something Maria wanted more than anything. Maria and her husband Phil were overjoyed to introduce everyone to their beautiful baby girl
Alexandra, aka baby A+. I want to celebrate Maria being a mom.
What a gift Maria was to me and to everyone she worked with. I will try my best to honor Maria and celebrate Maria everyday.
