To : The Rund/Gibson Families; I am saddened to know that you lost your Beloved Ashley. I know that this is a really difficult time for all of the family... especially Little Jacob. Please accept my most sincere condolences. Revelations 21:4 reads, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither mourning, nor outcry, nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. May the hope of a sure resurrection for  Ashley give your families solace and hope .

Rund Family -

I just wanted to extend my sincerest condolences for Ashley's passing.  I was very sad to hear the news from my parents and am sending my thoughts and prayers your way.  It was great to see the pictures on this memorial and see some of the lives that Ashley touched in her life.  I wish you all the very best and send my love from Chicago.

The Ashley I knew was a sweet, kind and silly little girl. She had two big brothers who would tease and joke around with her but always show that protective, big brother love whenever they smiled at her. She had two of the best parents any family could ask for. She was also a wonderful mother and wife, which is evident by all of the love being sent her and her family's way. The time I spent with the Rund family were some of the best times I ever had, no doubt. They always made me feel like a welcome part of their lives. When they lost a daughter and little sister I feel like a part of me has to. I still love you guys even after all this time that has passed. I'll miss you Ashley and carry your memory with me always.

We did not meet Ashley, but we were neighbours of Bryan, Lisa, Eli and Olli when they lived on Briar Hill Ave. in Toronto.  It is so undescribably sad when a mom passes away, leaving behind a child and husband (and brother, mom, dad, and more).  We know it must be such a hard time and we just want you to know we are thinking of you all so much.  Sending much love, prayers and hugs.

Love Mary-Anne, Rob, William and Thomas xoxo

I was blessed to meet and know Ashley in her last year at The Gunnery. She was someone I wish I could be or at least look up to as she was gentle, kind, loving, and funny. I think of her often and was so excited to see she married and had a son as they were two lucky guys. I am truly sorry to her husband and son, her family, and her close friends for having to endure the sadness and pain of loosing such an amazing person and so early. You are all in my thoughts. The only thing I can say is that I at least feel blessed and honored that I met and knew her, as I will always remember her, she will always remain in my heart and I will continue to be inspired by her kindness, humor, and spirit. You all are in my thoughts as she is as well.

Ashley was such a kind, sweet, caring friend. Memories of her playing in Coldwater Creek, riding rides at Six Flags, at Jeanette's house and anywhere else we could find to play will remain special to me. My family loved her and each of you. We are praying for y'all.

Life is a precious gift, but it is shadowed by this seemingly unconquerable enemy, death. I found comfort in the promise that soon this enemy will be brought to nothing and life can be lived as it was intended (Rev. 21:3,4). Please accept my sincerest condolences for your loss, I hope you too can find a semblance of peace through this tribulation.

I send you a big hug Ashley to wherever you are right now! And my deepest condolences to your family.

Love. Julia
