This online memorial was created in loving memory of Joseph Borgia IV, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Joseph's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Joseph forever. Joe Borgia was the kindest man I'd ever known. We met 3 years ago on match.com when both our lives were in desperate need of love and companionship. Joe loved to laugh and make others around him laugh. He was known as someone who would do anything for anyone. We may have had a short time together but the memories are warm and filled with so much love. Joe's life was cut short by esophageal cancer. I know he is our guardian angel watching out for us. I loved Joe so very much and will miss him for the rest of my life. Thank you for sharing this memorial site with me. I hope by looking at his photos you will experience some of how he touched our lives as well. I would like to thank each and every family member and friend of Joe and I's that were there to help in so many ways. Your prayers and thoughtful gestures were so heartfelt and sincere. God Bless, Nancy

One big happy family

Here is a picture of Joe and I and our blended family at his surprise birthday party this past April. He loved my children as his own and I loved him for that.

Joe IV & Christie & Joe VI

Nothing brought more joy to Joe's life then his children Christie and Joey. They were truly best friends. He was the best father in the world. He was so very proud of them and their accomplishments.

Joe and Jim his "Bro"

Hey Bro, What’s up? Those words I’d love to hear. Now every time I think of them, They’ll nudge a little tear. That’s how our chats would start, Most times when we’d talk. And all the things we discussed Stay with me in my walk. As kids we were separate. With our parents pulled apart. But the distance didn’t hinder. The closeness is in our heart. We talked about our lives. Not bitter for the pains. Happy for our present place. And joyous for our gains. I’ll miss our many talks. Of our family and our life. How proud your family made you. And how much you loved your wife. You spoke of your wife Nancy. Your angel from above. How she cared for you in illness And how she filled your heart with love. You wondered how you got her. A girl that put YOU in awe. I say, Hey you picked her. You’re a Borgia, Shaaaaaaaa!!! You bragged of Maria, Anthony, & Joe They added such joy to your life. What a bonus you received. A loving family with your wife We’ve talked about your Christie. Your daughter… my niece. Her journey to a woman. As a father, gave you peace. Your son, my nephew, Joey. Man he’s made you proud. He’s handled all life’s hurdles. And stands way above the crowd. I know you’d want them all to know. They made your life complete. And if you offered them advise today. You’d say, in adversity don’t retreat. And if they need your presence. When life gets hard and loud. You’d say, “Hey man don’t worry”, I’m peaking thru a cloud. You always spoke with integrity. Every time we’d talk Your yes was yes and your no was no. And you always walked the walk. What a positive example. That constant smile on your face. I know your lifting spirits. In your new Heavenly place. And even near the end. To make my pained heart steady. You whispered in your soft, labored voice. Don’t worry Bro, I’m ready. Today I say thanks to God, For the time I had with you. You added so much to my life. As a brother you were true. I’ll miss thinking of my big Bro.. And picking up the phone. That comfort feeling in my heart. When I’ve felt alone. But I’ll get by, I know I must. Though I’ll always miss a part. When I need you, I’ll close my eyes. And I’ll hear you in my heart. And next time someone says “what’s up?” I know what’ll be on my mind. My brother Joe, he’s UP, in Heaven. And though I miss him, that’s just fine.
