This online memorial was created in loving memory of Sara Ganssle, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Sara's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Sara forever.

This page is in loving memory of my beautiful neice, Sara Rose Ganssle born to Irene and John Ganssle on May 8, 1984 in Colorado.  Sara was the oldest of three children.  She was a protective and loving sister to Chris and Dani.

Sara married her high school sweetheart Joe Schroeter on October 31, 2005 and they became proud parents to Jack Dermot on March 23, 2006.  Jack was the apple of his Mommy's and Daddy's eye.  Unfortunate tragedy took Joe's life on October 10, 2006 leaving Sara devastated.

Sara began picking up the pieces to her life and became engaged to Nick in December 2007 with a tentative wedding in May of 2008.  Yet again tragedy struck and took Sara's life on March 1, 2008.  In the wake of her unexpected death, her loving family has pulled together to help with the care of Jack and has tried to begin the long and painful healing process.  We are all feeling a tremendous loss and sadness but we look at Jack and know that Sara & Joe have left behind the most special, funny, wonderful, smart little boy who is such a wonderful combination of his loving Mommy and Daddy.
