"Gone To Soon"

This online memorial was created in loving memory of Edwin Holman, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Edwin's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Edwin forever.

Edwin Dewitt Holman was born at 4:37 am May 18,1962 to the late Lewis Wilton Holman II and Helena De' Lois Wands, Sr. in Bainbridge, Maryland. Edwin was a Chef for Delius' Fine Dining. He had a passion for cooking and for life. He was a very wise and good spirited person. Anywhere you would go with Edwin he would always know someone. There was never a stranger to Edwin everyone was a friend. Edwin was always willing to help family and friends alike. He never passed judgment on anyone and always had good solid advice should you happen to need  a helpful word to get you through the day.

Before his passing he had turned his life to God and was begining a new life in Christ! As in 2Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new."

On Thursday July 17, 2008 Edwin went home to the Lord. Even though he is gone, our family can take comfort in knowing that he is in God's Kingdom watching over us all. He leaves behind to cherish his memory a caring and loving mother Helena Wands, Sr.

Edwin is survived by four brothers Lewis Holman III, Antonio & Jean Holman, J. Holman, Daniel Holman.

Five sisters Bianca Piper, Renee Elder, Danielle Wands, "Nena" Helena Wands Jr., and Dymitria Wands.

Katiana Lawson and two twin daughters Aaliyah and Malia Holman.

His Nieces Victoria Elder, Belinda, Patrice, Kristina, Tasha, Keandra, and Nephews Dimitrius Rosario, Frankie Holman, and L.J. Holman
