This online memorial was created in loving memory of Robert Keppler, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Robert's guest book and let us know you came to visit.

We will remember Robert forever. Robert arrived two weeks early weighing 5 pounds and 9 ounces and 19 inches long. His father and I fell completely in love with him from the start. He was so active; always moving and trying to sit up even at 2 months old. He would lie on his back and do stomach crunches trying to lift himself up. He had some colic but we made it through by singing and dancing to music. Once Robert became mobile he did not stop. He crawled for a short time and began walking at 10 months and running at 12. He loved all kinds of music and was a great dance partner. Robert touched many many lives. Robert gave us hope, happiness and  laughter. He taught me patience, the ability to love and pure joy.

Robert will always be the love of my life. At 23 months he was killed by a drunk driver. My heart is broken into a millon pieces. Robert was a very charming child. He brought smiles to every person he came into contact with. He was all boy. He loved trucks, tractors, balls and Yo Gabba Gabba. Playing with Daddy and Papa outside  was his favorite thing to do.I have been a day care teacher for 21 years and decided not to have children. On my 39th birthday I found out I was pregnant. Robert came as a great surprise which turned into a beautiful blessing. I was lucky enough to bring him to the child care center where I worked with toddlers. His infant teachers, Cinda, Kendra Kristin S. and many others were awesome. I will always be thankful for having them take such good care of him. I then became his teacher when he moved up  to the toddler room. I feel truly blessed to have been his mother as well as his teacher. I was so lucky to have spent so much time with him.

Oh Robert how  I miss you. A very good friend of ours, Billy W. is up there with you now. I pray you are both making music and smiling. You both were the best charmers I have known in my entire life. So many people are connected to you and love you both. I hope you know that. Mommy loves you baby.

Before you were conceived I wanted you

Before you were born I loved you

Before you were here an hour I would die for you

The moment you left this earth I begged to go with you

It has been a year and I still beg to be with you I will always love you Robert
