Employed by Quebecor World in Franklin, KY as an Engineering and Maintenance Manager for 16 years.

Ron was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme brain tumor on 6-22-00 in his left temporal lobe and underwent surgery on 6-27-00. Ron completed one round of BCNU chemotherapy and 33 rounds of radiation. While we had a plan to travel to Boston and Duke to seek further treatments, Ron contracted pneumonia and was hospitalized. He failed to respond to treatment, went into a coma and died without regaining consciousness. Ron was surrounded by his family in his final moments and ushered out of this life with great love.

The funeral was a celebration of his life as evidenced by the number that attended and shared stories of him. Ron would have been so blessed by all those who paid him tribute and comforted his family.

Although his time on earth was too short, Ron had the opportunity to say and do all the things he wanted to before he left. True to form, he was fully reconciled to all and left everything in good order. Ron was a class act. We love him and miss him and look forward to seeing him again.
