This online memorial was created in loving memory of Martha Lugo, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Martha 's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Martha forever.
Martha was a very happy child since birth. It was not easy having to deal with the various illnesses that she encounter growing up. I remember the embolism that she had to survive, where we thought she was going to die. No, God had other plans for her. After our Dad Angel Mendoza and our Mom Rosa Mendoza decided to come to the United States, we found it to be a blessing for Martha's well being. The doctors that finally found the problem with her kidneys and the support of the UCLA Kidney Transplant team made it possible for her to live 31 healthy years.
Martha lived a very healthy and happy life after the transplant. She married Armando Lugo. They traveled and had many interesting adventures. Two very happy and adventurer individuals found each other in the dialysis ward at Harbor UCLA. They decided to have children and their son Ricardo Lugo found himself in the company of his loving parents. Martha loved to cook and her favorite food to make was a Rice Pizza.
Martha lived a life that many would like to live. She remains with us, in our hearts, spirits and souls. She is but a thought away... Remember her and her happy smile...
