This online memorial was created in loving memory of Jayden Pineda, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Jayden's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Jayden forever.

Sweet baby Jayden was born a MOMO twin at 24.5 weeks. MOMO twins are very rare and pose a huge risk to the babies. MOMO twins share the same placenta and sac, which restricts their growth and can cause their cords to tangle. Baby Jayden was found to have the cord wrapped around his neck, but was hugging his brother when they arrived. Baby Jayden fought hard for 3 1/2 months. He had severe brain bleeds on both sides of his head causing him to have seizures. He underwent two different shunt surgeries to alleviate some pressure and drain the fluid, but his head still swelled and caused even more seisures. He also had a PDA litigation, which closes the valve that normally closes after birth to allow babies to breathe on their own, but because of the brain bleeds he would forget to breathe and had to remain on the CPAP machine to help him. After all that Jayden still fought, he wanted to live, but his little body couldn't handle the seizures even with medicine. His mommy and daddy wanted so badly to help him, but after seeing scans that showed didn't have any brain activity, and there was no chance he ever would, the family made the ultimate sacrifice and let him be free from the pain, wires, seizures, and all the medicine that was not really helping him. Baby Jayden came into this world a miracle and left an Angel.
