Gerald Patrick Mallard
April 6 1964 - March 20 2007

Sometimes we just don't understand the turns that this path of life takes us.  On March 20th 2007 my husband Gerald closed his beautiful blue grey eyes to this world and his soul took the spiritual journey that had been awaiting him.  He lived and he laughed and he worked hard. He was a very loving father, brother and friend. In October of 2006 Gerald was diagnosed with a rare cancer tumour that spread itself through his body like a vine clinging to every organ that it could. He fought hard with chemo and radiation  and was bound with hope but in retrospect it seems that his time was destined to be. This online memorial was created in loving memory of Gerald Mallard, whose life story is told throughout this memorial website. Please sign Gerald's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember Gerald forever.

If we look into the stars at night we know that you are there. When the sun rises in the morning, we know that you are there. If we dream at night we'll dream of you, and let you come.... in sweet dear memories of all that you loved to do. Your voice, your touch, and your sweet smile will remain in our minds and hearts forever. Your humour and grace will never be forgotten by all who met you, knew you and loved you. We miss you and we love you, but it was your time to go... no matter how early it was the way it was destined to be. Rest peacefully dear husband, father, brother and friend, because we know that you will be there and we will meet again. With all of my love, missing you so much..........Heather
