Every branch in me that doesn't bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

To Dad, "Life was a celebration". He embraced life in this way. Let's keep his spirit close by, and the good memories alive. Please sign John's guest book and let us know you came to visit. We will remember John forever.
Pruning Grapevines was the last
gardening work that dad was able
to do, before becoming seriously
ill; hence this website's domain
Strangely enough, before his
death In 1960, His Dad's last
work was also centered around
grapevines, though at his home
located across the street. He had
set about to remove, the once
well-cared-for trellised vines,
most probably, for fear they
would not receive the same care,
soon after his passing.

Dad, (as seen here with glowing Mom,) sporting formal
attire, and looking good for the
camera. Some years back though,
quite possibly 15 years ago.
