Kelley passed away early on Saturday morning, January 18th, 1997, after a four-year battle with brain and spinal cancer. She was only 8-1/2 when she passed on to Heaven.

Kelley was a beautiful, happy, courageous little girl who loved her family and her friends. We miss her smile, her constant giggle, her faith and trust in God, her positive outlook, her bravery, and her love of life. She so loved her brother, Brian, (who was like a twin to her, only 13 months younger) and her sister, Mary Kate. She adored her father, Jim, her mother, Kathleen and her dog, Bailey. She cherished all of her friendships -- her cousins and her dear friends at St. Mary's School in Rockville, Maryland -- where she attended kindergarten and first grade. (Kelley was too ill to attend 2nd and 3rd grade and was home-tutored.)

Kelley loved to draw - rainbows, butterflies and flowers. She loved to dress up, put on "shows", dance and sing. She loved music, singing along with the radio. She adored Disney movies and going to Disney World (FOUR TIMES!!). She loved riding around the neighborhood in her Power Wheels jeep.

We miss you so much, Kelley. We had so many special times with you. We cherish the short time that we had with you, for the gifts you gave to us and the lessons you taught us. We thank God for the love and support of our family and friends who have helped us to keep your memory alive.
